Talksport

I've met many like that in real life and normally tell them to fuck off and walk away....I can't be wasting my time with the tools....
Even the ones who appear to be highly educated and are in well paid jobs, when they start to talk about nited they turn into jibbering idiots. Well the ones that I know do !!

That rag was comedy gold and the sort you'd love to have in a group discussion in the pub, because you know you would totally destroy and humiliate him

I reeled in a Liverpool supporter in with something similar last year. When he turned his back and left my non football supporting mate said, "fucking hell, that was cruel" and then burst out laughing

They are so easy to wind up,I was bad and still am to be fair at being wound up,but since the take over I've never smiled as much, and now this news is killing em all,I love it me

We offered a great opportunity and the Sheik took it. That's life.
Everton don't offer the same opportunity and they can't quite grasp it. They think investors look to the history, they don't - they look to the future potential.
Everton have had years of opportunity to be taken over, and nothing has come to fruition - that suggests nobody fancies 'em.
The spare land was part of that opportunity and it's been utilised well (with more to come).

It's all 'if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle' arguments.

Not sure why we aren't considered to have history when we were formed in 1880!!!

Highest crowd in English domestic football too, in 1934 - how does that rate in the "big club" & "history" scoring??

There's nothing in the post that says we don't, but investors don't look backwards. It wouldn't matter what Everton or City had won in the past, it's all about what opportunities lie ahead.

What has history got to do with anything anyway. They're all so fucking jealous.
We are officially the most hated club in the premier league & guess what, i don't give a shit.

Has the "history" bollocks thrown at me by a Gooner. Told him to fuck off as it is exactly what I expected from a Sky 4 member and to come back to me in May when they had choked yet again and we were champions.

I can't wait for us to fuck these bastards up as well!!

History for so many means nothing more than winning things. But for a fair few, they haven't won owt for a while so the 'history' becomes more relevant and for some it is the only thing they have to bleat about. I find it amusing that anyone occupying the same time slot has history, not the same history but history all the same. The problem with Rags and Dippers is that they haven't a clue about anyone else's history so for them it simply doesn't exist.

I'm not sure about that mate, I live in London and when I meet genuine West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs fans they tend to be ok, if not fairly positive, about City. An Arsenal fan recently did my broadband line, he saw the memorabilia in my loft and was really interested. He loved the match programme with my name under the favourite player bit (Shaun Goater for the last Maine Road game) and was genuinely thrilled to talk to a City fan. He loathed the rags. I think there's a huge difference between people in real life and people on the internet.
