Talksport

Our owner is doing exactly what he set out to do, ie have a long term plan that will allow him to apply a proper Business Plan to sector of business owned by a complacent set of owners who for some reason thought their way to make money from it was the only way.

Even the most ardent MU supporter ought to be asking why it has happened.
Today is the time for reality to dawn upon them, tomorrow they should ask their owners for accountability.

I loved the old girl on earlier, her voice was quivering with rage.
She gave us the gem of Pep leaving after 3 years,"where will City be then"? she asked angrily.
I think we might be in a better position than they are after 26 years of the old pisscan!

PL champions 3 years running - CL champions and a couple of domestic cups to the good that's where I would hope.
She should worry about where the rags will be in 3 year time - battling with the Saints and Joke City I bet for mid table superiority giving them a tilt at the Europa League.

And a vision of where they're taking the club.

Any owner investing for the long term to achieve greatness, is a rare beast indeed in the Anglo/American short term return fixated business world. In the Premier League there is only one.

If I were catapulted on to the Arsenal Board and required to justify the additional expenditure needed to take the club to the next level, as a business man I couldn't do it. The level of investment to take Arsenal to the pinnacle of world football would be immense, without any guarantee of success, better to stay in the Premier League and top four, it's a lovely little earner being just good enough with fewer risks.

But the Sheikh is motivated by other considerations, it's not just about City. The elite in the UAE are all about diversifying their economy and re-casting the perception of their nation.

Me? I couldn't care less if the Sheikh wants to build an amusement park on the dark side of the Moon, I'm along for the ride in a tiny part of his empire and it's bloody great.

Did anyone hear the female rag, who said she didn't want Pep nor the eye-gouger at the swamp, as they would only stay there for two or three years.

She failed to mention how long Wee Davey was there for and Durham told her the days of one manager staying for 20+ years at one club, as the pisscan did, were well and truly over.

He also asked if anyone thought we don't have a long-term strategy in place. He added that it might not work, but there is definitely one in place.

@Eccles Blue is going to kill you.

Haha! It was when she started waxing lyrical about Manuel I had a little chuckle to myself.

Haha, she really will not want to be mixed up with mad jenny

Hullo folks,
I've been chairing a meeting of the save our Mr Pellegrini group so I have no idea about this mad woman!! I would NEVER, EVER, EVER ring that TalkSport station.
She can't be 100% mad whoever she is if she waxed lyrical about Mr Pellegrini, probably got a couple of brain cells left after the alcohol taking over!! ;-)
Thank you, I am glad that my defence of Mr Pellegrini has not gone unnoticed!

It wasn't really a meeting of the save our Mr Pellegrini group.......................... that's next week!! This week was education based!! :-)

Just listening to the first hour of Durham's show on listen again. Funny as fuck. What a cracking wind up, and by fuck did they bite.....

How many times did the thick Yorkshire **** say " Manchester Yoonited brand " - thereby confirming what we are saying that they are just a big money making machine that just happen to have a declining football sub-division.
meanwhile the raggy disillusioned masses come on and trot out the old cliche's - except for the first caller bizarrely wanting Pellers as their next manager. Why the fuck would he go there? He can see over the garden fence how their managers are being abused like battered wives..... needs that like a man needs two arseholes.

Rags are only too ready to use the history word when attempting to convince others of their self-importance, but having just had a glance at the history of the FA Cup, the early winners came from such teams as Wanderers and Blackburn Olympic. These clubs have long ceased to exist proving that history means little. As mentioned on here by Fanchester, investors look to the future and not to the past and that is why Sheikh Mansour chose the potential of City.

Fat **** Saggers using every opportunity to name a supposedly big contact figure for pep every chance he gets.
