He was proper fired up that game, can't remember what he did but it was right in front of me and I do remember thinking fucking get in there and going ouch.

I don't remember the incident any longer, either, but I do seem to remember thinking there was no doubt he'd have been red carded for it in a competitive match. As you say, the way he was playing, it looked only a matter of time before he did something like that. The match was in that 4-team tournament we hosted in the summer of 1987 - we beat PSV Eindhoven 3-1 the next night.

It is Saha. He played for the scum versus us, Everton versus Liverpool, Tottenham versus Arsenal and Sunderland versus Newcastle (as substitute). Also played for Fulham versus Chelsea. He has scored in all of the above except the Merseyside derby.

Paul Stewart (and best wishes to him at this difficult time) did not play a competitive derby for us. He played in the Merseyside derby, the Tyne-Wear derby, Tottenham versus Arsenal, but also other derbies Palace versus Charlton, Palace versus Millwall and Blackpool versus Preston. He may have played for Stoke versus Port Vale but I think he might have missed that through injury.

I can't believe how many days that fat jock mard arse rings in sick when they get beat. He'd get the Spanish archer in any other job. I am however looking forward to Cundy's crowing and the rhotacistic cockney cowboy's bleating on tonight's sports bar.

Plus he played for us pre premier league

Surprise surprise.

The rags turn in another shite performance yesterday and Durham and Gough have instead opted to drone on about Formula 1 and Strictly Come Dancing.
