Feel free to listen to it a few times like I have. She didn't give him a couple of warnings. She called him love in response firstly (that's not a warning) her only warning was when she unprofessionally snapped at him saying "don't call me darling" As he was talking to Danny she interrupted and he said excuse me love. When she was defending herself on twitter afterwards she didn't even get it right there either claiming she cut him off when he said excuse me darling. He was a tit, she was OTT.

There are many blues on here that support her, agree with her stance. So that would indicate that she was well within her rights to fuck him off.

I've listened to it, I listened live, I found him annoying and condescending, had no issue with her cutting him off. His use of 'pet names' was excessive and frankly rude. You spoke about 'the work place'. I assure you, if his boss asked him to stop calling her luv/darling and then immediately after he said so luv, she'd give him a bollocking.

The presenter deserves respect, how ever you spin it, he wasn't respecting her.

I listened to Talkshite for the first time in ages and caught that exchange. I thought she was spot on. Gave him a couple of warnings then cut him off when he ignored them.

The fact that you don’t find it offensive is neither here nor there. She did find it insulting and it was as much the man’s tone that annoyed her. He made no attempt to acknowledge her protest and just carried on. In fact I felt he was deliberately trying to antagonise her. So good for her.

Fair play didn’t hear it so can’t comment on tone. Still don’t think in most exchanges being called love by any gender is intrinsically offensive.

This is absurd and just setting us up for a fall. Barca are unbeaten all season and still ahead of us. We can beat anyone in a one-off match but we would need Barca to play poorly for us to win. I would love to be proved wrong but I think we are still a few players short. Let's wait and see.
