This is the problem though. An outrageous and disgusting comment gets made very publicly and the rebuttal is minimal. It’s like a newspaper printing an apology on page 9, at the bottom of column 4 just under the little story of a talking budgie. The accusations get maximum publicity, the apology gets minimal.

I understand that from clubs point of view, but that just leaves us fans open to having to listen to the crap and defend it. I honestly don't agree. The usual suspects use it as ammunition, but in my experience fans of other clubs find the fury from the 'istry clubs rather amusing and hypocritical. They just shout louder because it affects them.
