I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even watch, it shows the champions league for what it is when the two contesting teams haven't won a domestic league title between them this century. Pure lottery.

I don't get this 'other fans should be obsessed with Liverpool and the CL'.
It's been written so many times on here, that it would be 'nice' to win it, and get yet another 'monkey on our back' off the dwindling list of things, that opposition fans scrable around for and throw at us.
Getting back-2-back PL was the start (damn you 12-13 and 14-15) , and now.. hopefully... 3-in-a-row PL, followed by (for me) the biggest one, the 4-in-a-row PL to wipe out so much of the crap spouted by 'istree supporters.
If that ever happens, then and only then, I'll start thinking that the CL is the next most important item on the agenda.
Cups are a lottery, a bonus, a random, albeit nice to have.
