Andy Jacobs is on 2 days i think(caring for his wife who has had some health, issues recently) H&J is one of the few shows i listen to on there now but i don't bother when Rushden is on .Shame because there is a real gap in the market for a decent talksport/football station.

Can't abide Rushden wittering away inanely, smug twat thinks he's funny. I turn off as soon as he comes on

I am asleep when the boiled bollock is on and Jim Shite and his "....he is a friend of the show and I know he is listening" nonsense with Jordan has me reaching for Morrissey on Spotify in the car but I have really warmed to H&J over the past year and appreciate them and the non sensationalism displayed by the others.
Goldstein (I know, I know) and Cundy is the best show though. Just 3 hours of piss taking

Charlie Adam (yes, the one that was going to turn out to be a better purchase than Sergio in the summer of 2011) was on yesterday, and he reckons that Littlewoods reaching the top four this season is a bigger achievement than them winning the Champions League two years ago.

For the want of anything better to do, I started watching the Scottish Premiership playoff last night between Dundee and Kilmarnock and there was the man himself showcasing his talents. I believe he scored too but I'd switched off by then.

Robert Shaw is probably my all time favourite actor. Absolute tragedy that he died of a heart attack whilst in Ireland just 3 years after Jaws at the age of 51.

I believe he was in the running for James Bond earlier in his career and I think he would have made a great one.

Oh and Talksport is shite.

Robert Shaw was terrific. Brilliant in Robin and Marion as the Sherrif against Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn. Was also excellent in A Man for All Seasons, The Sting and Taking of Pelham 123.
Bloody hell just googled him - born in Westhoughton!

I think the local Wetherspoons is named after him! Great actor and always thought he was one of the best Bond villains as Red Grant. Also good in the Battle of the Bulge, Custer of the West and Battle of Britain.
