And what a signing!

I know know he didn’t turn out to be Merlin nor Sergio, but it was fantastic having Robinho - one of the megastars of world football at the time - at my little club and it was just an amazing feeling.

After the news of the takeover by Sheikh Mansour, the the fact that he was joining us was brilliant.

I remember saying to Mrs Vienna, while we were waiting for confirmation of the deal to come through, that even if we didn’t sign any one, it was the best deadline day ever.

It probably still is.
