He spoke firstly about City and then Brentford, very much up to speed with both clubs.
Rick has a soft spot for City, always has.
A fan?
I'm led to believe so, YES!
From what I've heard he's a big blue.
Yup - 6'4" apparently.From what I've heard he's a big blue.
Didn't Rick wakeman pay for wanchope's flight back from an international so he could play for us away at Leeds?
He was man of the match in the game
they just had Phil Brown on giving his 'expert' opinion on yesterdays Arsenal v Spurs game....he has no connection with either club,he's manager of Southend...thats daft enough but...he admitted he didn't even watch most of the 2nd half .......how fuckin crackpot is that station?
But he did tell some wonderous stories.Wakeman's a bit too much of a 'yes man' for my liking.
All these presenters living in in the times of back perms and brown leather jackets. Maybe that's why Phil Brown is on so often?
No one denies Liverpool were a phenomenal club in the 70's and 80's, but the likelihood is, is that there is a larger percentage of match-going Liverpudlians who weren't even around when they last won the League, than those who were nowadays.
Imagine if Talksport brought in a 20 year old to see what his take is on the big teams in the UK.
Or, just stick with the winning formula of Dominic Cork and Neil Warnock (obviously when he isn't caretaking up and down the UK).
iirc, at the midlands branch centenary supporters club rick was asked to be our chairman, he declined as he lives in the isle of man and would find it hard to attend meetingsBut he did tell some wonderous stories.
