The idiot Gough just pointed out that the rags have about 8 players who wouldn't get in the City squad, and asked the amazingly naive question;
'If they're not good enough for City, how are they good enough for Utd"?
You have to admire the way he's not afraid to make a complete twat of himself

Stupid, badly advised? Yes.

Shit? Definitely not.

Why the fuck apart from £€£€ he went to work under Mourinho I will never know?

Huge mistake by the lad.
I'd actually agree with that.
Agents having far too much influence on young players who usually don't have the life experience to make the best decisions regarding the footballing side of their career.

I'd argue that it isn't that he's not afraid to make a twat of himself but that he doesn't realise that by phrasing the question in the way he has that he is making a twat of himself.

Yep. It may well have been that Real and us weren't going to pay the agent's fee, and Raiola thought 'fuck that, I need my payday'.....

I can't think which player it was, and might even have been Pogba, that we missed out on because we were willing to pay the transfer fee but we refused to pay the agent's fee so it never happened.
Edit: Am I thinking of the Isco situation.

Might have been Hazard?

Yeah it was Hazard when he joined Chelsea, both us and the rags refused a 20m Euro agents fee, Chelsea didn't.

ha ha did anybody catch the Rag i dont care about united being poor in more embarrassed they cant sell out with guardiola in charge ha ha poor love i hope we never sell out as can feel their pain

One of them has said that they're angrier than usual because, aside from their own team's under-whelming start, they are having to contend with the fact that "City are flying" and this is making them panic. Hence the in fighting has started ridiculously early. We have deranged the fornicators and they are scared shitless of Pep.
But Liverpool are their Rivals not CITEH !!!

But ,but, but this time last week there weren't any City players would get in the scum team..I wish they'd make their bloody minds up.. Humphhh!!!

And Isco as well. I think in both cases the deals were done (club, player and agent) then the respective fathers wanted a bung. So we said no and walked away.

Sorry your right, I remember this.

At the time i thought it was a real miss for the sake of a sweetener to his father or agent. It is mad the money these agents can now make.
