Taxing the super rich

Given that today was the first time I looked at the UK’s 2018 growth rate in comparison to the Eurozone yet I’ve held the view for a lot longer, I’d say you were wrong and that your opinion as to what my worldview is based on is itself based on a snapshot. You don’t do irony, do you?

Also when I ignore someone’s request to provide G20 growth rates over a 35 year period, it’s not because it might not satisfy my worldview, it’s because I haven’t got the time.

One year is a snapshot. Basing it on that is simply ridiculous. If you aren't prepared to look at effects over the medium term, then that says a lot. Pointless continuing.

If you want to look at a longer period I think it's doubled since the referendum.

Yes. But that is also far too short a period to base anything on either. Rather my point that judging entire political beliefs on a year or a couple of years is rather silly. It has to be done over decades.

Agreed. Ireland 5 years ago was a basket case, today it's the 6th (I think?) Wealthiest country in the world. Overall nobody in the EU is doing badly compared to before they joined though.

Well. Greece perhaps. Italy certainly since joining the euro. But a rising tide really should float all ships, that is the hope at least.
