Taylor Hawkins RIP

So sad to hear. We went to the Phoenix Festival 1996.
A great Friday line up:

Neil Young and Crazy Horse,
Alanis Morissette,
Manic Street Preachers,
Foo Fighters,
Dodgy,
The Wildhearts,
Beck,
The Flaming Lips,
Ian McNabb
Fun Lovin' Criminals

Foos were on, but Taylor was playing with Alanis Morrisette that day ...
R.I.P.

Didn’t love the Foo’s but I heard this interview with Taylor by Steve Lamacq on radio 6 and it’s pretty hard not to like him.

Poor old Dave Grohl, another best friend and band mate gone too soon, I wonder if he’ll carry on.

This was a great video that’s now pretty heartbreaking - Foo Fighters covering Under Pressure with Rufus Hawking on drums and his dad singing.

Great' proper' Rock drummer drummer, seemed a decent guy and a real character too.
Only time I've actually been on the pitch,
(as opposed to watching things on the pitch) at The City of Manchester Stadium (as it was ) was watching Taylor Hawkins with The Foo Fighters in 2008.
Very sad news, both for his family and for Dave Grohl ( not the first time ,as people have already mentioned.)

Wow! another shocker.....RIP Taylor Hawkins.

I'm not a big fan of the FF's, but watching interviews with Taylor, he seemed like a geniunely nice guy.

Some news just hits very hard, this is one of them cases.

Always came across as a great guy and he was an awesome drummer.

Will be greatly missed.
