Resting as many players as possible might be the order of the day. One point at Liverpool plus every advantage going into the semi might be better than three points at Liverpool and risking tiredness or injury to Tevez, Silva, Yaya, NDJ, Kompany. Zabaleta in particular is going to be vital for the semi. If Nani is fit (and Richards isn't), he has the most important job on the pitch. If Nani isn't, Zab might be asked to stop Valencia. We have good options, Boateng at CB, Dzeko up front, Milner and Barry in the centre. It's time to make the most of the squad depth.
