Silva and Yaya Toure are bigger names and players than Koralov and Dzeko so its not unrealistic to expect signings of at least this quality, we are trying to sign players in these positions this much is clear. Then we still have :

Caicedo
Robinho
Roque Santa Cruz

of a decent quality. They can be used as part ex, loaned out, used for cover along with our promising youngsters etc, most top teams only have a first team squad of 24 pros.


There is a pretty strong argument that our second team is better on paper than Villa and Evertons first teams and possibly Liverpool if as expected Gerrard, Torres and Masc are sold with little money to bring in decent replacements.
