Teen dies in electric bike crash in Salford.

Lots of them zooming around Northenden and Didsbury these days, very fortunate it's not happened around here yet

Get your qualifications, work hard, achieve in life and reap the rewards.

These toilets might think they’re it but one day it’ll all fall apart.

Good.

Chase some more and let’s help the gene pool recover and improve.
To be glad a young lad is dead is how you feel then fair enough.

I feel very sorry for his parents and the lad who has been denied a life.
From now on every Christmas and his birthday will be torture for the family. I did stupid shit on motorbikes when I was a teenager and lucky for me I'm still kicking.
It's a tragedy in my eyes, these bikes are death machines.
RIP and condolences.

The voice of reason.
He was doing something he wanted to do, something which made him feel ALIVE. The x-box in your bedroom life wasn't for him.
We've all probably done things we shouldn't have, especially as youngsters, some of us are still doing them now!
R.I.P.

(If only someone had took him to Oulton Park, he might have become the John Surtees of our time...)

Small world at times! Other end of Timperley for me but hurtled down it on a BMX once or twice. I'd not be surprised if we had some mutual acquaintances at least
I grew up around that area, near the Gardeners Arms. I used to have a blue BMX and go flying down Devil’s Drop n’all. Took me a few years to pluck up the courage though.

I bet we do. I’m sure I’ve read on here before that you were from the Broomwood, that’s where my Dad’s from and know loads of lads off there.

Both sides of my family were "originals" on the Broomwood (first tenants in the new houses) and my parents, aunts, uncle and cousins are all still on there now. If your old fella ever drank in the Broomwood then he's definitely gonna know at least one side of the family. Blue stronghold.

His parents failed him and society failed him. He shouldn't have been riding around on a £4000 illegal electric bike that is too fast for an inexperienced, unlicensed, uninsured, underaged boy. This wouldn't have happened back in the day but times have changed. We really do need a reset in this country it's out of control. A 15 year old shouldn't have been in that position to kill himself. RIP.

Yep esp as the Police had to stop following him due to not being able to continue due to bollards
Dealers are using these bikes to do drop offs. They're the ones wearing balaclavas.
The police can't catch them so they don't bother chasing them. Usually.
What we need are more police on e- bikes without helmets.
