television dates

agree mate entirely, not enough consideration given to the paying fan, last season palace away on a monday night was a disgrace

In fairness, Palace was a bank holiday Monday. How many complained when City v U****d was a Monday night after it arguably won us the league?

I'm going to prefer Friday night matches to Monday night. It'll almost certainly require a hotel in town but a bed and a cooked breakfast does the world of good.

Personally i'm looking forward to Friday night games. I do 8am - 4pm at work, dump the car off at home and would be in town for 5pm, then the weekend then starts with City!

The tv companies are missing a trick here, they could put a game on for Saturday mornings - 10am - would get great viewing figures in the far east which is the biggest market there is. The other option worth considering is Saturday evening - 8pm - no traffic jams beforehand & roads nice and quiet for travelling home afterwards - and a great viewing time for our burgeoning US market. I'm sure its only a matter of time before the EPL and the tv companies look to exploit these two tasty slots.

Stop putting stupid ideas into their heads. 10 am? piss off

I complained about it being on Monday. It was great beyond words but it would have been better had it been Saturday.

Me too. the Monday fixtures are awful, Shame they didn't just drop them from the fixture calendar

For Home games maybe, but for Aways? There are less and less local clubs so it will be worse for the fans.

I bet there are a few on here who complain about games being moved but pay Sky and BT to move them. Not a penny off me ever.
