What does toe to toe mean???
Fighting facing each other (hence both peoples toes are next to each other). As opposed to the dirty rags, who fought toe to anything smaller and weaker than themselves.

Just more garbage form BollocksBlue2.0

Having been once married to a very good amateur boxer I would suggest that BB2 can say that he too has had coaching?

Because, unless you are a bit of a nutter, anybody that says that must have had some kind of tactics and discipline instilled in them.

My ex husband was a pupil of Mick Jelley from Bury. He was a "street fighter" before he met Mick. He learnt loads from that coaching.

My uncle fred was a very good amateur aswell, went in the navy, right soft **** aswell.

Oh yer, I once had it out with a lad in year nine because we were doing a science mock exam, still had about three minutes left but he was going round collecting rulers. I decided I was still using mine so wouldn't give it so he smacked me over the head with about twenty rules, teacher did fuck all so I dealt with it myself straight outside after the lesson!

Come on BB2 I'll have ya!!!! ;-)

My ex never really got over his "anger" issues, despite Jelley's efforts.

Took it out on me and stabbed me several times in a frenzy. Nearly killed me. (long time ago now though)

I have very mixed feelings about any type of boxing.

Wow, I know a lad who's wife stabbed him in the bad 8 times.
Boxing is good discipline for people, some use it to try and bully though.
My uncle is the softest person I know I only found out he was a really good boxer about a month ago. I could not believe it.

Scotty, sometimes people can seem to be "turned around" but then lapse back.

And sometimes the most mild mannered person can show an inner strength that is amazing. Your Uncle sounds like one of those people, especially if he uses the discipline he was taught in a good way.

The biggest loudmouth isn't always the one to listen to.

My ex landed up in prison for what he did to me. Taught him a lesson.

I had a story printed about me in the News of the World many years ago under the headline 'BRA-VO KATHY'. I was in a club in chinatown and a couple of friends of mine were attacked by triads and ended losing a fair few fingers which I duly scooped up, wrapped them in my bra and plonked them in an ice bucket. I would never have picked them up if I hadn't been full of vodka!

So how many fingers can fit in your bra?

;-)
