Statement from Ten Bob:
“ I thought I managed quite well, but the results were not quite as good as we deserved. Mostly the problem is Ineos appointed personnel who have made crazy decisions that nobody else has had to endure. I have suffered injustice after injustice. They turned down my reasonable request for £100m to sign a CB from Grimsby academy which would have completed a great team. We were clearly on the right lines, just a fraction away from top spot. The team spirit was excellent and all the players loved me. Another two years and £500m would have made us champions.
An enquiry would show bias against me orchestrated by a critical media who all support City. I am now going to have another rest, away from the unfair scrutiny of the MUEN.”
Think Ineos told Ten Bob to "get on his bike" because Sky said they cannot justify a Top 14 on the infamous Sky Loop ?
Hope they give it to Red Rum, as the GPC will once again, have an input...

Tired Thomas Tuchel GIF by DAZN
I wonder if Little Tommy Tuchel is checking if he has an escape clause in his England contract

Just had a rag fan text me saying he’s heard Pep is going there at the end of the season.

Any advice on how I can respond to that level of delusion?
I read somewhere earlier today that Ten Bob was being paid between £6m and £7m a year or about a third of what Pep makes at City. Ask your Rag acquaintance if he really thinks Pep would be prepared to take a step down in class and a huge pay cut.

It's a surprise he has lasted this long but it shows that there really isn't anyone out there suitable for the job, well there is but they need time and lots of it perhaps 10 years, and of course in their desperation your average Rag will say they are willing to give them time, but come the first run of defeats the banners will be out and the planes flying overhead
Always but, but but we’re manchester united……………won’t give any manager time..

I didn't actually find Ten Hag that much of a dislikeable chap tbh, unlike some of his predecessors. Some very poor buys and limited tactical nous has been his undoing though. Back to square one for the rags, hope they enter a tailspin.

I don't think he was particularly dislkeable, but I found him incoherent and seemingly deluded if notice can be taken from much of the content.

I accept that every manager lies to an extent in their press messages, but unless he is a brilliant actor, I think he actually believed some of the things he said.

Obviously he has known that scruffy jim was desperate to be rid of him, and that can't have been a pleasant situation, but if he was responsible for signing some of the dreadful players ie Antony , Zirkzee etc then he can have no real complaints.

Anyway the club, GPC , shit ex-player hangers on and their deluded and entitled supporters can wallow in misery for a very long time to come if there really is a God overseeing proceedings.

Van
He didn't desherve the shack.

Fucked our Old Trafford is falling down song up now, but won't be long before the next manager gets us to tell him he's a "fuckin' clown"!
Nistelrooys a fuckin' clown, Southgate is a fuckin' clown, Thomas Franks a fuckin' clown ...they all work ! ...oh and 14th, just saying.

Choosing to be serious for a moment (and wipe the sardonic smile off my face): Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ten Hag, and others. Whatever you may think of United's managers since the Govan bully quit the stage, they had something of a track record elsewhere.
The problem is not the manager. They can go and get anyone they like, but the sickness is deep, deep at that club.

Just one question. Why the exclamation mark in the thread title? Was it really a surprise? After the weekend, he was a dead man walking. Now come on Gareth. We're all behind you mate!

He's taking up roofing when he leaves City?
