As one of the 2 OP’s of this combined thread, I need to hold up my hands and say ‘I was wrong’. My original post was a Poll of how long ten Hag would last, in comparison to his preceding managers, or longer.
I was wrong , he far outlasted my prediction . I voted for a LVG length of time iirc. But he smashed it.

So I was wrong about his length of tenure, but I was right that united would continue to fall back to their longterm norm - an occasional cup team.

So, compared to our previous campaigns, this one has been relatively successful.

I think we deserve a huge pat on the back.

ETH has only himself to blame. He got every bit of help possible from our Save Poundland Pep campaign, but at no stage did he raise a little finger to help. It was almost as though he was doing everything he could to sabotage our efforts, culminating in Sunday's "which rag CAN shoot straight?" competition in London which ended with the ultimate disaster that in tent peg's group it was actually Casemiro! Who would believe that! United are disaster prone, and we want a good few disasters but this bloke was having a laugh. His disasters were just too disastrous. So farewell, ETH, even we couldn't help you. You were just down to the job.
