Raducanu out of US Open at first hurdle, tumbling down the rankings.
A modelling career awaits.
Down to 80 in the world having barely won a game this year and she earns nearly £19M doing it lol.
Society is so unfair at times.

No doubt she can play the game, but I doubt her mentality to compete at the very highest level.Down to 80 in the world having barely won a game this year and she earns nearly £19M doing it lol.

Yeah it wasn't a great first round draw for her, Cornet higher ranked and in good form so it was probably the result you'd expect tbf. Will be interesting to see if she can build a more conventional career and ranking going forward. She'll now have to do all the things she hasn't had to for the last 12 months like qualify for the big tournaments etc which was probably what she originally thought she would doing be at this stage of her career if it hadn't been for last year's anomaly How she responds to that having already had that taste of success will probably determine how it goes. Now the spotlight will be off her at least a bit she may be able to return to a more 'normal' progression. Not sure she will stick around another 8 years if the next couple of years don't show decent progress.New be waking up to her getting beat! Her next 2 years are important now she will either move back up the rankings slowly pick up a few tournament wins or go backwards stagnate and retire at 27!
It’s strange how much glee and delight some people have in seeing Radacunu lose
It’s because people like yourself put her on a pedestal of greatness, demanding she be bestowed with honours and awards her fledging career have simply not justified.
By all means carry on celebrating what is fast becoming mediocrity but it’s not for me I’m afraid.
where have i done that ?
people like myself right celebrated her US Open win which was an epic moment in British Tennis history - even if she never wins anything again, so be it. might aswell cheer her on rather that be bitter and belittling towards a 19 year old girl
