She is very good. And now the UK press build her up to be the greatest female player.
He had a good (and long) career. He never won any more Grand Slam tournaments but got to a few finals and won plenty of other tournaments. He never really had the game to dominate and pretty much did as well as he could with the ability he had.I can't remember much about Chang but he never seemed to move on from that 1st title.
Chang was world number 2 and won 30+ tournaments and won over $19M. His career earnings, including endorsements, were over €30M, so he did ok.….She is very good.
I hope she can stay injury free and not take on too much at such a young age.
I remember Michael Chang and Aranxte Sanchez Vicario winning a grand slam in the late 80's and both were very young at the time.
Vicario had a good career but probably should have won more but seemed to be injured a lot.
I can't remember much about Chang but he never seemed to move on from that 1st title.
Agree, looks off the pace and not fully focused, she is playing a bit careless and well within herself.Emma not at 100% here, bit rusty, going to need something special to turn this 1st set around.
Yeah I've followed her on Instagram and it seems like she's spent most of the last 3 weeks celebrating and attending various events. Not a massive surprise to see her not doing as well this time.Sasnovich wins 6-2 6-4.
Not the same Emma that was at the US Open. Looked to be lacking all that energy and confidence she had.
Slightly understandable given she'd had 3 weeks off. Needs to get her coaching and background staff right over the coming weeks.
Maybe this will wake her up to reality again. Always painful to see talent go to waste because they can't handle being at the top.Yeah I've followed her on Instagram and it seems like she's spent most of the last 3 weeks celebrating and attending various events.
