Yup. Hope the wrist holds up. I dont expect her to win but a good show would suffice at this stage.
 
Been watching the various clay court tournements over the last month or so and I'd say this is going to be a very open French Open.

You'd have to fancy Carlos Alcaraz, who has played some sublime tennis these last few weeks, but he got beat by a low ranked player in Rome this week.

Similarly, Djokovic was despatched by Holger Rune who is a skillful young player with a fiery temprement.

Tsitsipas is consistent but never seems to be able to win in the latter stages.

Jannick Sinner is unplayable when he is on form, but again, always seems to have an off match in the latter stages.
 
Some great matches so far at Roland Garros.

Huge respect to Taylor Fritz for taking on a joke of a French crowd. I hope he had a good run in the tournament now. Probably scheduled at the same time as the cup final today but it will be worth checking out the highlights of his next match later to see what kind of a reception he’ll get.

Bloody tennis. I had to wait for over half an hour for the giro d'italia the other night because of tennis running late. I was watching tennis with what seemed like a porno sound track. How anyone can watch that with all the grunting is beyond me.

Problem is that she asks too many questions and her coaches can’t keep pace with them!
 
I see radacnu has just been beaten in the Australian open, was following the updates on the sky sports app, she came back from a set down to 1 each, then in the decider according to sky she was looking the stronger player.
2 seconds after she loses the headline is "sick raducanu crashes out of the Australian open".
Why is it whenever a British player loses they always have some sort of injury up their sleeve to blame
 
I don’t know much about tennis but Emma Raducanu has had a number of injuries. I just hope the media don’t pressure her, Luke Littler and other young stars we have.

When Raducanu won the US Open, we had the last game or two on in the pub late and everyone stopped partying (they had DJ / karaoke on) to watch.

Old Billy was going “How on earth can you be half Romanian and half Chinese?”
 
To be fair, she was wretching into a towel mid set, I don't think it's an excuse.

Having watched it, it was a very physical match with lots of long games. Tough one to play when you're coming back from many injuries and probably not 100% match fit.

You can see she has plenty of ability. As long as she stays injury free, gets fit and gets some confidence back, she can do well.
