That period was just the best for action movies. Watched Cliffhanger again the other day. Superb. Compare that with some of the shit they churn out now. Constant rehash of classics and politically correct crap.

Neaaa, not for me. Arnie was too big a star to play a 'baddie' at that point so they shoehorned him in as a 'goodie' terminator. Not buying that at all.
As for that little shit who he has to protect? He just needed a slap the cocky little shitbag. Singlehandedly made the film unwatchable.
Just my opinion of course.
