Carlos Tevez is very firmly in my top 5 favourite City players over 65 years of watching. Definitely my favourite signing ever.

Carlos always worked his bollocks off and gave 100% every game. I loved his never-say-die attitude.

His signing was one of the majors signposts along the way to where the two clubs currently sit, and the Deansgate poster that accompanied it has been the source of much hilarity or bitterness during the intervening decade and a half.

And the fact that the rags are still trying to emulate it shows just how much it hurt at the time.
