David Silva was probably my all time favourite city player. Absolutely immense.

But the debate was about Tevez vs Aguero and I know they are building a statue of one of them for his contributions to the club...the other, well he’s remembered as a great player who kicked it all off.

I know, I was just suggesting Tevez probably could have been up there with Messi and the other Bloke with a bit more professionalism, that's all.

Sergio Aguero is an absolute icon, no bad words for him. What held Serg back was injuries whereas Tevez it was more to do with attitude or more likely poor advice.

The debate was about football ability alone but we all know it takes a lot more to make it than ability alone.

Think we can safely say they were both better than Lee Badbuy and Bob Taylor!

Remember the furore he came to with having played for Manure and the age we got him at vis a vis Kun who had his best years ahead of him at City.

Despite his petulance I loved Tevez in blue , a bull fighter to the end the Roberto Duran of the football world at his peak.

IMO Kun the better finisher and player you could rely on when needed but Tevez the better all round player and would pick ahead of Kun in the games that mattered.

Tevez was cracking fun for a couple of years, but always seemed to want to do it all himself - he was captain ffs.

Sergio is the best striker to play in the Premier League. Easy on this.

Not sure. Tevez always took a fair few games to get going after being out, some matches he was unplayable though, but some he seemed to scuff every shot. I think Aguero was more consistent and got into his stride quicker. I love Aguero more, and for us he was the better player but it’s close if they’re both on top form.
