Carlos Tevez has reached a personal agreement with Inter Milan ahead of next season, according to Italian paper Corriere dello Sport.
Although no deal has been reached between the Serie A club and Manchester City, it is reported that personal terms between the Argentina striker and the Italian club have been finalised.
The former Manchester United man will sign a five-season deal earning him around £6m-a-year basic but, with a series of bonuses and add-ons, the striker will earn closer to £10m-per-season.
Manchester City are currently paying their captain in excess of £250,000-a-week but he has repeatedly aired his wishes to leave England, culminating in the handing in of a transfer request in December that was eventually rebuffed.
City's billions mean they are in no rush to sell their leading scorer but they may be willing to cash in on a player who is clearly not completely dedicated to the cause at Eastlands.
At 26, Tevez has already played for five clubs in his career and the Italians believe they can make it six this summer.
Should Manchester City concede defeat in trying to retain the services of their 22-goal striker he would command a fee of around £40m.
Inter could subsidise the move with the £25m they could get from the sale of midfielder Wesley Sneijder who is a target for a number of European clubs, including Manchester United.
