Carlos Tevez has reached a personal agreement with Inter Milan ahead of next season, according to Italian paper Corriere dello Sport.
Although no deal has been reached between the Serie A club and Manchester City, it is reported that personal terms between the Argentina striker and the Italian club have been finalised.
The former Manchester United man will sign a five-season deal earning him around £6m-a-year basic but, with a series of bonuses and add-ons, the striker will earn closer to £10m-per-season.
Manchester City are currently paying their captain in excess of £250,000-a-week but he has repeatedly aired his wishes to leave England, culminating in the handing in of a transfer request in December that was eventually rebuffed.
City's billions mean they are in no rush to sell their leading scorer but they may be willing to cash in on a player who is clearly not completely dedicated to the cause at Eastlands.
At 26, Tevez has already played for five clubs in his career and the Italians believe they can make it six this summer.
Should Manchester City concede defeat in trying to retain the services of their 22-goal striker he would command a fee of around £40m.
Inter could subsidise the move with the £25m they could get from the sale of midfielder Wesley Sneijder who is a target for a number of European clubs, including Manchester United.

The last sentence is laughable.

Think you will find City are in mood to do favours for anyone, least of all so Sneijder to United.

It has been widely reported that United are in for Sneijder, so hardly laughable unless De Jong can use his influence and persuade him to come here instead. If we let Inter take Tevez, they will presumably be persuaded to drop out of the race for Zapeta.

If Tevez goes we should be looking for huge money ala Torres. 50 odd goals since he has come here not many forwards would score that many and give the workrate that he does on top of that. World Class players like him and its a case of us naming our price and if they cant come up with it hold onto him next season. Hopefully he will be leading the line for us in the champions league next season.

I actually want Tevez to leave in the summer. If he stays..i can't see him playing well with Dzeko. And Dzeko would get limited playing time.

He is also so selfish and i would really like us to play more like a team.

Any reason why we seem to have another perfectly ill-timed Tevez related issue at another point of our season when we could really do without it? Top of the league, loads of momentum, transfer request. Run in, FA Cup final, most important time in the clubs recent history, Tevez agreeing personal terms with Inter? Anyone else a bit bored? Could this really not have waited till the end of the season, during, I don't know, the summer transfer window?

Shame, he won't have it any better that he does now at City. I'd be disappointed if we don't get at least £50m for him.
