Tevez: "I am a City fan. When United play City, I root for City"

I would have been devastated if he'd said he supports United in the derby!

He was volatile and a bit of a lunatic, but as others have said Mancini was far from blameless.

Thankfully it all ended well and they will both always be City legends in my eyes.

Absolute warrior,a modern day version of Francis Lee,but probably better all round. He was just what we needed to drag us up to the top,a born winner
who chased every ball in a Blue shirt. He would have scored a hat trick at Villa Park with our chances created.

I hated his antics at Munich but really respected the effort he put into games when he was on the pitch. I'm glad he played for us and won some medals. You could guarantee 100% from him every game and I'm delighted that he doesn't like the rags.

He was a great player - but most of he was the signing that showed Europe that City wanted to be a top club again in their eyes.

The Welcome to Manchester poster was one that cut deeply into Ferguson's back - gave him reason to be concerned that this sleeping giant could one day compete with the best again -

Rag fans were really wound up by that poster - someone had dared to leave them for City - it was a huge moment for us as a club and Tevez was at the heart of it.

It was a massive symbol of intent..... Look at us now. Recognised as a giant of a club again and capable of attracting the best players in Europe.

A great player who will never quite gain the hearts and minds of City like Aguero does but who was possibly the most important signing we ever made......

The one signing that made me go ''Wow!'' when we got him.A genuine world class player snubbing the rags and signing for us,it made me think we were now on the way back to the top. It is hard i know to forget 'Munichgate' but this player was a warrior and when he pulled that blue shirt on he left everything on the pitch. Joe Royle once said about Dickov that he would chase waste paper and the same was true about Tevez only with a massive upgrade on skill and talent. If we could get him on loan or a short term deal it would lift everyone at the club and help our striking situation no end.

Got to admire carlito , he could have towed the line , and got on the rag bandwagon , but he has come out and stated he is a city fan , and prefers our club , he could of had an easy life and said he loved the rags and become Mr.Popular , but Tevez is his own man , hes got balls of steel ,he is single minded and has great belief in his ability , like all world class players ,and i would have him back at our club in a heartbeat.

I wonder if City are getting big in Argentina these days? It would make sense that he was asked that, plus the Aguero and Duggan Affair story a few weeks back.

Not that I don't believe him because he was well looked after by the club and City is much more of a family than the swampy side of Manchester I reckon.

I loved Tevez's playing style, he was a tenacious little bulldog on the pitch battling up and down the pitch for the team(but not without his skill and flair either, he's scored some belters) but it's been the same where ever he's gone he just wants to win which is no bad thing.
