But thats nothing to do with your claim that Tevez was in the changing rooms into injury time !

I"ll try and be more clear, if you read the report under that headline he is quoted he was in the changing room. I need to master this iPad.

That's not true is it Tevez can be clearly seen in the mancini last 5mins video on the OS and is seen leaving the Pitch on Tunnel Cam with the rest of the players. Why don't you take a look at some of the videos, if you can prove me wrong I'll eat my words, but if all you going off is something you've read I'm not surprised that other posters don't believe what you're
saying is true.

Correct, I just checked the video on the OS and he is there. Silly me believing what I read in the press, especially sky sports!

Sorry can't post the link but it's a sky sports report "Tevez won"t apologize"
If I am reading it correctly that is what he is quoted.

he's quoted as saying he was in the dressing room before dzeko's goal and missed aguero's

<a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/7761332/Tevez-won-t-apologise" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... -apologise</a>

If that is the case, which it appears most likely to be, then I apologise to Shirley for jumping the gun in my above post. However, what does it matter if he was there. He perhaps should have stayed out on the bench and supported the team, but they didn't need him, furthermore he is not the type of player to give inspiration from the sidelines anyway. Whilst he is critised for sticking by the rest team, something needs to be said about fans who left. I saw one woman on the BBC who admitted that she left after Mackie scored in the 66 minute. furthermore I think it should also be highlighted that If Tevez hadn't come Back we would never have won the league, and whilst he should never of gone AWOL in the first place.I think we have to give him credit for not sulking after not getting his move to Milan and being Man enough to come back and get on with it.

What a load of old shit. Give him credit ? He came back with his tail between his legs after tossing it off on the golf course for most of the season. He deserves fuck all in the way of credit.

Don't be so hard on him. You sound like Fergie.

Tevez has done and said a lot of silly things, but now he is spot on. He understand how the thug fergiscum works, and won't bow down for that rude arrogant feck. Fair play carlos tevez, fair play.

You may hate him, want him gone, but this episode is great. Tevez understands, and I find his mentality perfect for city.

Credit for a man of the match performance against Norwich perhaps. He could of easily sulked and sat it out for a few months until the summer. When he did come Back it was through the back door; he was n't included in the European squad and he had to play with the reserves to get fit. Tevez is a selfish bastard with a big ego no noubt about it; he goes around wearing clothing with his name on for fuck sake, and so it would it have been easy for him to stay where he was rather than come back and face the music. There is a good chance he will leave in the summer, and if that is the case the "situation" is resolved, however if Mancini thinks he has role to play then that is that. Tevez proved to be an important member of the team and if he is the difference between winning more trophies or not then you have to accept him. If the Boss and the Lads can have him back then we must aswell

Tevez was accepted back for financial reasons and that alone. Not even we can afford to throw away the best part of £30M for the sake of making a point. Lets not kid ourselves that Tevez cares for anyone other than himself, he'll be gone in the summer and good riddance. Also we shouldn't forget if he hadn't have thrown a tantrum and fucked off, we would probably have had the title sewn up a lot sooner.

Did n't I acknowledge Tevez's selfish attitude, before this season he was greedy when it came to goals but in the games he played well in this year he was actively involved in setting them up.Tevez's new role in the hole is designed to get the the best out of the players around him rather than the best out of Tevez.
Last season Dzeko was kept out of the team to get the best of Tevez and Adebayor was marginalised. Last year Tevez and De jong were the spine of the team, they are not any more but they can still be important to our success.
Whilst the argument about sewing up the Title earlier is too speculative but we all know that If he had n't have played against norwich we would not have beaten them 6-1, the five goals that went towards goal difference were important in winning the title.

Also for a moment Imagine this scenario we sell Tevez and bring a replacement, maybe lavezzi or cavani, Aguero picks up an injury and is out for long time. Aguero's had a fantastic season and has adapted so well you cant guarantee another import will have the same instant success, Tevez is the only striker we have got who has has more than one good season when it comes to scoring goals. If Aguero was out of action for a long time I dont think I'd be comfortable relying on a balotelli, Dzeko and a league debutant to keep up the consistency infront of goal.

I would like to set something straight on the Tevez front...
If he leaves next year, he will be playing as hard as can for the badge he has on his chest.
He leaves it on the field..... I wish he would have acted differently in the game against Bayern. As much as I wish Mancini never said he was through.
It's clear the TEAM responded to his return.
And the wee Argentinians would be a formidable duo through an entire season..
I hope to see them together for a long time.
Congratulations to all City fans. No matter what ever happens from here on out,
That game, That day:.......................
Forever
