Does anybody think the official signing may have been delayed for today due to the PR involved in the Chelsea press conference for Ancelotti and Tranny unveiling at Madrid?

well ive got to be honest Benzema is signing wednesday, thursday apparently so we may have to wait longer still. Especially if Barca sign Villa over the weekend. Then there is the unveiling of Zhirkov which will happen next week. So what happens tomorrow... Villa agree's to go Barca so we put it on hold? Wednesday, Real sign another player... Again we put it on hold? Thursday, Friday, the weekend all the same? Shouldnt make any difference who else signs for whoever, if we have a deal done then we should just make it legit. Fuck the rest of the world the only people who should matter are the City fans and we should be the reason a player is announced not because it's gets the worlds media to stand up and take note. Tbh I'd rather it slip under the radar and us just keep it on the low, think the media would take more notice of that than us doing an all singing, all dancing press conference to announce it. Something along the lines of:
"Hi is that Sky?"
"Er yeh... Whos this?"
"Hi yeh it's Garry Cook here, just to let you know we have signed Tevez and Eto'o ok!" "oh yeh nearly forgot we have Lescott and Terry poping in on Thursday and they will probably sign too so... Take care bud"
