i think/hope tevez is a done deal, but perhaps its taking longer as the F.A might be involved after the whole ownership saga with west ham??

And as for lescott that could be taking a while as there may be player/players plus cash which would then need more than just one player agreeing contract terms??

Urged on by Ancelotti, Chelsea yesterday stepped up their pursuit of Carlos Tevez to put pressure on City who are also bidding to sign the striker.

Aside from resisting City's overtures for Terry, Ancelotti is keen to press ahead with recruitment plans of his own, including pushing for Tevez even though City are still the favourites to sign him up.
