Crying out loud another sixty pages added since last night WTF has been happening, what is this rumour about a medical? Not doubting it,but given the game in Ecuador finshed about midnight our time,to get back to Manchester from there takes a bit longer than 8 hours surely. Can anyone give a latest update of the rumour or do I have to back read 60 pages?

He was having a medical over there we were told... Now on a private jet to Manchester to be announced as a Blue. Allegidly. And you dont have to read 60 pages just the one you are on to get an update as every man and his dog is asking.

Tevez is not allowed sleep

You mean not allowed near sheep?
As soon as the face transplant heals,he will be revealed.
And no-one will recognise him.
ITKers tell me its a tax dodge...

Ive had enought I'm logging off... See you all tomorrow unless something happens and by that I mean something actually does happen!

One more article from Phil Hall (Tevez's PR) from one month ago...makes interesting reading:-

"Today one of our clients, Carlos Tevez, is accused of being petulant because he did an interview with two Sunday newspapers revealing that it was sadly time to move on from Manchester United, a club he loves and respects.

He did the interview because stories had been published suggesting he was demanding too much money, his wife and child did not like living in England, he wanted to move to Real Madrid - all of which is untrue.

Tevez is not what most people perceive a footballer to be. He is modest, when he signs autographs he engages the fan rather than signing while looking into the horizon, he does not argue with referees and his professionalism extends to all the right areas - he trains hard, he is punctual and he gives his all to the cause.

The simple fact is Manchester United have not tried to renew his contract. So why is he being petulant? The answer is he is not. He wanted to give an explanation to the fans that have supported him. He was not criticizing Manchester United or their manager.

And in my view he can move on with his head held high and his dignity in tact… and I guarantee he will become a hero at his next club."

It's just a rumour I heard from a couple of folks...don't read too much into it. I didn't post it earlier this week because I wasn't sure about it.

Regardless of all the rumours...

How confident are you that we'll sign him URG?

I don't mean to put you on the spot, just interested...

Care to indulge my impatience?

I've not heard anything definate and if I had I would say he is signing. I've not heard anything since my post on Monday afternoon...page 20.

I didn't and don't expect you to say outright, as that would put you in the firing line from the resident morons...

As a fellow blue asking a fellow blue, I just wanted to know whether or not you (as someone who is more privy to myself) were confident that he would sign.

No biggie, and no quest for a confirmation...

I'd just like to gauge your general feelings on a possible outcome.

Cheers mate.

I'm not ITK (thank God), and I don't believe anyone who is...but when you read things like that, it does seem like he's going to move on, doesn't it? Not necessarily to City, of course. It's rare that Fergie mends bridges with players who speak out - however justifiably - and, for all Carlito is a class player, he is not irreplaceable, and to be honest, for the rags, probably not a £25million player. They have spent £10mill (ish?) and got 2 excellent trophy laden seasons on him, and probably reckon the £80-100m they can spend would go better on:
Benzema, Ribery, Valencia.

They've known Ronaldo may go for ages. It's just not how the rags do business, to let it be strung out like this. If they really wanted him, he would've signed by now. IMO.

No only did Hughes not deny that Tevez is a target, he went on to describe hypothetical circumstances where a club reacts when a player becomes available. Then, when asked whether we'd gone after City again this year he said "no".

Clearly it's in Tevez's court. He knows he's welcome here any time!
