Pete Spencer was on talksport last night saying that Tevez to rags was a possibility. He has no real contacts about this and was basically doing a bit of self publicity. Word is starting to leak out of City that they have an agreement with Joorabchian and are confident of completing the signing of Tevez. I'm not saying this is nailed on but City are confident.

Tevez has become disillusioned about the way he perceives he has been treated at Old ­Trafford, but Ferguson has broken off from his holiday on several occasions over the last week to contact the Argentina striker. Nonetheless, Tevez is aware that United are trying to sign Valencia and has not received any assurances about playing more regularly if he were to stay.

How can they have an agreement with Joorabchian and the deal not be nailed on? Surely if they have a written agreement then it's legally binding? Personally (and I hope I'm not being overly confident) I think the deal was done at the same time as Barry in Dubai or Abu Dhabi (can't remember which city they were in) as reported in the NOTW (of all papers) now Barry has already signed, and all the signs are indicating Tevez is going to sign (bookies odds, Hughes calm smile when questioned, paper reports etc) however the question we have to ask ourselves is why haven't city announced it along with Barry?

1) Can't announce anything until loan is official over at United
2) He didn't have time to take his medical because of the internationals
3) PR

and the worst case:

4) No finalised deal is in place just yet.
