everybody is getting stressed out for no reason over nothing.since when have city ever come out and said we are signing carlos tevez.its only the papers and talk sport that have said he is comming, but what does that mean? nothing.has gary cook ever said 'yes carlos tevez will be a city player' and all hughes has said is that i think carlos tevez is a very good player and i would be interested' once again means nothing really.so in all honesty carlos tevez deal is 0% done.the samuel eto transfer is gonna go on for the next 10 weeks if not longer in my opinion, but who knows about that one,its a tricky situation.
my point exactly, but wait spursmad said its 100% done oh no dont know who to believe, itks talk shite

Maybe it is 100% done but it hasnt been announced yet. Spursmad posts his info in good faith and the best intentions he doesnt get off on making people believe something will happen when it wont. How long you been a City fan mate, 10 months? Cos after 20 years a month or two of waiting for top class players aint gonna make fuck all difference.

thinking about it-if hughes said we are close to or he has signed then that looks like the deal was done while he was under contract with the rags.He can only say any deals are a long way off. Also I saw some news that the FA will be looking very closely at the Tevez deal,to make sure it is above board.Again I suspect they can only be invited to look after today onwards as doing a deal while under contract with the rags won;t be the greatest of starts with their investigation.
However, Vassell who was in the same situation, pretty much found a new club in a matter of hours.
we own him and want him to go...Tevez is owned by a 3rd party rented out to the rags under a contract. If they "the pimps"let him speak to us then they would breach the contract and the rags could be looking at some cash back.So even if we have spoke to him,we haven;t if you know what I mean,so every comment will say "early stage"like 12.00 and 1 second am early stage, wink wink say no more, nudge nudge.

this about still being contracted to united is bullshit, you can talk about future employment when you know it will end

Everybody knows what Hughes has said anyway and that we are to wait on both of them. Like Kia said last week, he still has a club to choose (Not 100% nailed on City), and we all know the Eto'o deal is going to go on all summer. I think Tevez will be done before the 14th (2 weeks time) but Eto'o i can see going on till deadline day haha. Patience is virtue, let's sit back and enjoy the rollercoaster.

Also Tevez 3rd party ownership will take quite a long time, i think that is what Hughes meant. Early stages. Well it's always better to do it right, than wrong especially as the FA is monitoring this situation with 3rd party ownership. As long as we get him i'm not bothered.

Anyone else noticed this bullshit pattern? First we were going to sign him at the end of the season but that didn't happen and we were told that we had to wait until the world cup qualifiers had taken place, only then would Tevez' future be resolved. The world cup qualifiers passed and still no signature and we were then told that Tevez has returned to Argentina to see family and enjoy his holiday, only when he returns from his holiday will his future be resolved. Tevez returns from his holiday and still no signature, this time we are told that the transfer window hasn't formally opened yet and only then can he complete the move. The transfer window opens and still no signature, this time we were told that he is "under contract until the 30th June and cannot sign for another club until he is out of contract". So his contract expires yesterday and guess what? Still no fucking signature! All this despite everybody saying that the deal was "100% done and dusted".

I will no longer be placing any faith in any of the supposed 'ITKs', not even the much vaunted Spursmad123, the number of predictions regarding this transfer alone that have been shown to be folly is extraordinary.

OK then.

Yes but we all know that. SpursMad has been saying these deals are 100%, but how can they be? Until they have passed a medical and signed the terms its 50%. We have made a bid for Eto'o 50%, we have made a bid for Tevez, and he likes the deal we are offering 80%. I'd place 20% on the medical. When he passes the medical and accepts the terms, then he is a City player. SpursMad is probably referring to 100% as the players declaring their interest to jump on ship. Nothing more.

Edit- It's media and ITKS that were saying he (Tevez) was going to sign at 4 different times, when have we ever heard a club statement, never. Until we get one, that's when we can believe it with faith.

SpursMad said today at the earliest. It's 11:51am and people are already spitting their dummies out. Quality!
Spot on. Pre-teenagers spitting their dummys out, or maybe even grown men behaving like pre-teens. Patience is key, and we have waited 33 years for a trophy, i am sure we can wait a few weeks for 2 signings. :)

It's positive news that Hughes is not taking anything for granted, because atleast if it does backfire on us, he isn't made to look a dick. I think we are a little bit ahead than Hughes is saying. He is just calming the supporters down, incase we get ahead of ourselves like some people are all the time on this forum. Calm down people. :)

I;m not sure, cos his owner is a 3rd party, and if he is under contract for some time with them, then he won;t be able to talk.To be honest I think the FA have bent over backwards for the rags on this one,and I can;t see what the difference is between them and west ham conserning the "pimping"arangement.Ha ha,but make no mistake I;m no ITK and this is pure guesswork,so I;m all lug oles if anyone know different..:-)
