Would be a fantastic way to do things but I seriously doubt this is what it's about. TBH it is what it says on the tin - technical difficulties. A bit embarrassing really after making a big deal publicising it all.

Thing is, the site is running pretty quickly. There are no breaking news pages up which you would expect if there was a mega signing.

Anyone who has ever been involved in a major software implementation knows that they can be problematic despite the best laid plans. This is quite probably about the software that City are using for the website and City won't have written the software themselves.
