Tevez [Merged]

A shit day at work where nothing worked and I heard nothing so I return home to no news. What a disappointment! Come on Carlos get your arse in gear! I now have 12 days off work so hopefully something exciting will happen in that time period.

It will be sorted by next week at the latest,it's this premier league thing goin on about making sure there's no dodgey dealing's with third partie's and that.

Are you seriously saying that he might not come now because we have signed RSC and are trying to sign Eto? Shouldn't that really be the other way around.

Considering we have played 1 up front all season and Eto'o offers a similar option to him then yes I think he would reconsider, he would be mad not to.

We played a 433.

R-Cf -- ST -- L-Cf

SWP -- Caicedo -- Robinho

Next season: TEVEZ -- Eto'o -- Robinho

was hoping there would have been some news today, got to work for 4 days now.

Forward to page 1085, mate - bluemonkey71 gives a link to the OS where it's announced.

Saves you trawling through the rest of this shit.

With the potential signings of Tevez and Eto'o, the question we need to ask is not are we big enough to attract these kind of players. But are we big enough to walk away when fecked around?

Great question. Well, are we?

I think it will be fine. I am determined not to be worried about the Tevez situation and if this time last week you'd have told me that Eto had gone on record to say a move to City was a definite option, I would have said you wanted twatting.

Would it be wise to hang fire and not pre-order my 'Tevez - 32' new shirt then?

I couldn't be arsed rushing to pre-order it before (the shirt) and that's something I'd like on the back.

You really do have a foul mouth Pam ;-)

apologies if already posted, but have they re-used old quotes here or did Hughes actually say today that it's 'very early days' regarding the transfer of Tevez?!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-wont-Samuel-Etoo-Carlos-Tevez-transfers-yet.

about half way down...

Hughes also confirmed City are interested in signing Carlos Tevez, who has left rivals Manchester United. Yet it does not appear the Argentina star is an imminent arrival.
Carlos Tevez

Early days: Hughes admits there is work to do in Manchester City's bid to bring in Carlos Tevez

'I am a huge admirer of Carlos,' he said.

'Everyone is aware of his situation and we are interested, as we are in all top quality players.

'We will have to see what happens but these are very early days.'

I still have faith we will sign him. Carlos, seriously, put us out of our misery and sign on the dotted line asap. right NOW would be great for me.

I just want him to sign so I can get my shirt now personally. Saying that I won't be getting the doves tickets, they'll all have gone, so as long as he's here by whenever the deadline is then I don't care to be fair.

I swear in your general fucking direction.

I think the answer to that lies in whether other clubs are willing to pay such astronomical wages.

I'm not saying that we're the only option for these players but if they want the megabucks then there aren't many willing to pay what we will. So to a certain extent we hold the aces.
