We knew when he signed he was a mercenary - how many top players today aren't. But old Herman Munster Head (remember the song when he was a red?) signed, and now he gets the loudest cheer before kick off, standing ovations when he is pulled off with ten minutes to go, and all fucking deserved in my opinion. Oh...and the Golden Boot...

Fucking hell he even got himself a smart hair cut, and smiled when he lifted the cup. Thats enough for me.

My glass is half full on this one and am waiting for Carlos to make a triumphant return and say that he has thought about things and is staying at City! It's all drama, it's a soap opera .... stirred up by the press over and over again. In 'normal' years gone by, the players finish the end of the season and that was that.

Now, Sky TV / Talksport etc have fuck all to talk about so they perpetuate 'stories' like this to maintain interest.

Have a rest Carlos, spend some time with your kids and come back to us ready to win us the league and the Champions League! If he does decide to leave, then he will go with my best wishes and City will carry on as before. Why does everyone get so worked up about some quotes taken out of context, some TV footage that is talked over by a translator and badly edited to show him laughing when he mentions Manchester .... and radio phone in after radio phone in regurgitating all this bullshit.

The only way I would be 'bothered' about this whole saga, would be if it affected his performance on the pitch.. nothing else matters.

My only hope is that he doesn't shaft the club again.

By taking a rest, and then telling the club later in the year that he wants a transfer because his woman of an ex doesn't want to leave. Family negotiations consisted of a 2 minute call which could have been done as soon as the season ended.

I understand that I'm being rather ignorant to Tevez's personal life but really...how long does it take to decide whether to stay or leave? There has been no real confirmation as to his decision yet with most articles being rehashed stories based on one or two quotes from interviews which have nothing to do with anything a la 'i hate manchester...or if i leave i will never come back to manchester'.

It kinda fucks up our transfer objectives hence the sanchez situtation and why we haven't been as active.

If Tevez remains, he should be stripped of the captaincy. In no way has he EVER deserved to be our captain. VK or Nigel are our symbol. They are CLASS.

i've said it before, and i'll say it again

the whole saga of news is good, news is bad, news is whatever

if tevez continues to play as excellent as he has (38 goals last season?) i couldn't give a funking monkeys how he is potrayed

i don't care about footballers off the pitch, they can be anything they want to be - they have the money afterall

his performances have been brilliant, even sublime. i couldn't care less about his attitude off the pitch.
