Tevez [Merged]

Getting a bit of a yawn ammo to the press though he should knowbetter.
If he does return vince for captain and tow the line or sit on the bench.
If not a divided dressingroomcould be our main problem next season.
Its not beyond the realmsthat David Nige and Vince could be courted by real or
Barca who Imo they wouldwalk into both sides and knacker our attempts to build aworld class first 11.

Spot on.

I can honestly say that if it wasnt for the love of my family and for the blues, I would have been out of England years ago.

Take football out of Manchester, and there is nothing to do! I challenge anyone to come up with 10 good reasons for Tevez to visit Manchester on holiday?!

In fact I challenge anyone to give me 10 good things to do this weekend, given the fact its forecast rain![/quote]

1. Park life festival
2. Take That live
3. Go for a meal at one of our "2 restaurants"
4. Vist a museum (Imperial war, Manchester, museum of science and industry, urbis)
5. Have a shit at on the swamp or even paint it blue (oh wait its not in Manchester)
6. Do a bit of shopping in town
7. See a film at the Cinema
8. Take a City of Manchester stadium tour
9. Go clubbing in town
10. Errrrr Have another shit on the swamp, lol!!

See there is plenty to do and ffs everyone calm down Tevez will stay for at least one more year and hopefully bring that title home next season!!

never in any doubt

as no one will pay the £50 mill plus it would take to get him.
and there ain't many teams in that position who we would sell to anyway.

he either breaches his contract and quits or knuckles down for the last 3 years of his contract.

as good as he is there is still a bitterness for me from his original request last dec. just a working relationship now.

Clubs can easily offer money and a player (maybe make that plural!). That then puts numerous clubs in line to take him. And he's not worth £50m - marding around the pitch one in every five or so games; getting suspended on purpose (Newcastle at home) so he can fuck off on holiday (that time was to go to Tenerife with some woman while he was suspended and still should have been in full training with the squad, plus his trips to Argentina to see his kids from time to time); his greediness on the pitch (a bit too often in the middle chunk of the season he was being far too greedy); his greediness off the pitch (he'll fuck off any club if there's a possibility of a bit more money somewhere else).... all detract from his true footballing qualities! Taking his worth way down on what people think.

For me, taking everything into account, he's worth about £30-35m!

£8-10m+Sneijder is easy for Inter to do! And numerous other clubs will bargain like that! I'm looking forward to it!

Amazing that he was suspended and in tenerife when we played Newcastle at home, even more amazing that he scored our first goal with a penalty. What a man, what a super hero!!! This rather makes the above post a crock.

Slagging Manchester off, exactly how a captain should behave.

If he does stay he should be stripped of his captaincy, give it Kompany, someone more deserving.
Overly precious. He doesn't speak much English and his family don't, so what can he do when they visit? He's talking about his family with his kids next to him.

The fact that he's been playing football in this City for 4 years says more than a few edited comments

All that matters to me is his attitude on the pitch. he's not in the team to promote manchester as a tourist destination for the Spanish speaking world

Can't really understand anyone defending 'captain fantastic' on this one, his off the field antics don't deserve any support. I love Tevez as a player, but as a person he's a moron.

I'm not bothered about his opinions of Manchester, some Mancunians don't rate it as a place to live... but what irks me is that he's going on record in interviews publicly slating the city of the club he is currently contracted to. He has no concept of respect and its pretty arrogant for someone to live in a country for 5 years and never bother to learn the language beyond 'please and thank you'

On the pitch he's the most commited, exciting player to watch and even after that transfer request rubbish in December it was hard not to like the guy when he gives so much for the team. If he leaves he'll be really hard to replace, but if he stays, there is no way he should remain captain. Could you imagine Kompany or De Jong slating Manchester the way Tevez has? I'm not saying they love it, but I'd like to think those two are bright enough to realise the fall out those statements would inevitably bring.

A large majority of people who pay their hard earned money to watch (and support Tevez) live in Manchester and don't deserve to have to read his opinions of the place. Imagine if the city fans sang at games ''Argentina is a shithole'' - do you think he'd be annoyed? Once he'd got Zabaleta to interpret it for him, I imagine he'd be pretty pissed off and rightly so.

Tevez once called Neville a ''boot licking moron'' - he was right, but unfortunately he's licking the other one.

Go and live in the sticks of sunny Australia. I lived an hour outside of Melbourne - THAT my friend is "nothing to do" (besides your local pea-sized "shopping mall"), there is plenty to do in Manchester. I'm not sure what Tevez wants, what do you think Buenos Aires has that makes it so amazing? There are beaches, if that is the difference between a boring city and an amazing one, then so be it, but when you live near a beach you find yourself not on it as much as you envision (especially in a place like Buenos Aires where the beaches are packed beyond belief most of the time).

Tevez's "two restaurants" comment shows how utterly unintelligent and uneducated he is. There are over 300 restaurants in the city centre alone. He is just lazy (listen to Zabaleta's English - he is from the same country as Tevez) and a total c*nt in reality who seems determined to make his social life as difficult as possible. That said, I hope he stays and scores 30 goals as he's a useful c*nt.

This is the media spinning shite again out of nothing. We're hardly an idyllic island in the tropics. That said, he'd get more out of life here if he learnt the language. I am amazed that he has been living in England for five years without doing that. I'm not saying it's an obligation because it isn't but if I lived in Argentina, I would be a bit disappointed in myself if I still couldn't communicate with the native after five years.

Also, he should stop giving interviews or give one in English. They are twisting his words and skitting us all on the strength of even the most innocent or incidental things he says. They have been stripped of their opportunity to belittle the club and last season's achievements so they are seizing on this bollocks and Tevez continues to give them the ammo. The club really need to get hold of this now once and for all. The club must have a code of conduct about shite like this. Professional footballer and millionaire he may be, but he's still an employee when it comes right down to it and there is a usually a contractural duty to loyalty and fidelity, including not trashing aspects of the job and it's location. The sheikh might be none too please about this, giving his efforts to regenerate the area and attract lucrative business from the high rollers and casino-wallers of this world

.... oh and blah, blah. Fuck it. Bored myself rigid now, with this. Shut the fuck up, Carlos, is all.

When is the Copa America starting and is it on TV?

Hope he stays as he is a class act on the pitch.

Off it he is nothing but a **** of a person and once he goes i won't remember him in the same light as others.
