I agree in part, but Rooney was Carlos's best mate at Utd, on the night he was under great pressure to not be seen to cause any problems both on or off the pitch.
Maybe he shouldn't walk off the pitch smiling but it proves one thing we know how to take defeat, all our lads shook hands and took defeat in the right manner, it would have been interesting to see some of their lot and how they would have reacted.
Lets not have another start of a thread slating one of our best players, its over lets get on with the rest of the season.

I'm just pointing out the obvious difference in attitude between the 2 teams.

Look at our squad on paper - far better than theirs. The main reason we couldn't beat them is because we're not as 'bovvered' as them.

Can you imagine Rooney having a laugh with Tevez after the final whistle if we had won that semi? No, he would be trudging off with the rest of their team looking like someone had just died.

Tevez's reaction disgusts me. I can't fault his workrate or effort during the game, but seeing him joking around just like he did when we lost 4-3 makes me feel sick.


I hate to say it but this type of attitude is what makes them better than us at the moment.

Tevez took defeat gracefully, I saw him walking down the tunnel looking like i'd just pissed on his kids. When getting on the team coach his head was low and his shoulders were drooped.

Maybe you should take defeat like Tevez did and not make yourself out to be completely thick
