Tevez suspended - OS

A Football Club isn't a normal workplace.

If it was, my take on last night would be that Tevez commited Gross misconduct, His Employer suspend, pending an investigation with a view to dismissal. Tevez on the other hand quickly back - tracked with his "unfit in body and spirit" spiel; and with a decent Union behind him would beat the Rap either first go or on appeal.

Does anyone want to see City in a Court in eighteen months time as we chase for the Title or prepare for a Champions League QF ???

As I'm not a lawyer I cannot make any comments on what City should do next.

As a City fan, however, I hope that City do everything possible to prevent the "scumbag" from profiting from this by getting a big money free move to another club.

I don't know if City can keep Tevez's registration to stop him playing elsewhere. However, City should ensure that if Tevez is to play again elsewhere, then we should receive suitable monetary compensation.

I am also intrigued on how Kia Joorabchian is gonna try and wriggle his way out of this. Seeing him suffer too would be most agreeable.

I hope all the players are fully supportive of the club in the stance taken. Friend or no friend, Tevez let every single person connected to the club down yesterday. I just sometimes worry about the mind set of modern day footballers. I'd like to see some kind of emphatic public display of support to Mancini from figures within the club, and very soon too.

Cook is probably sat at home now, gutted that he is missing out on this whole Tevez shit. It would have been his chance to ruin Tevez and Kia for all the shit they've laid at his door the past 9-12 months.

Can we make him train with the women?

Why make the women suffer? They have done nothing wrong!!

Not that that is an issue during his suspension anyway because the club statement says he will not be allowed to take part in training.

Stalyblue,
Thank you for putting me right on the employment law/contract issue, as I said I am prepared to stand corrected. Just a shame it couldn't happen though!! :-)

JUST AGREE WITH ALL THAT HAS BEEN SAID, WHO DOES HE REALLY THINK HE IS ? WE HAVE BEEN MOST FORGIVING IN THE PAST BUT TO REFUSE TO BREAK INTO A SWEAT FOR OUR BELOVED CLUB IN A COMPETITION WE ALL DREAM ABOUT IS THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN FOR ME - GET HIM OUT ON OUR TERMS AND STOP HIM PLAYING FOR EVER IF THAT IS POSSIBLE. CARLOS YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO OUR CLUB WHO WE THE SUPPORTERS SWEAT TO PAY YOUR WAGES AND WORK TO GET TO GAMES AT A COST TO OUR HARD EARNED CAST, JUST GO YOU MAKE ME SICK.

Very good move by the club. Swift, decisive action that gets him out of the place, backs the manager and shows the world that we're not fucking about any more.

Overplayed your hand this time Carlos.

Oh how I hope he finds out the kids aren't really his.

I've been in his exec box at the stadium & there's pics of them all over the walls. Believe me, the ugly little fuckers are his! And having seen them, it explains why he chose to go on holiday with his bit of skirt rather than go home to visit them! I'd want the full benefit of an ocean between me & them if they were mine too!!!
