tevez to miss liverpool game

Aye, we don't know the full story. Presumably Mancini does, and he's let him go, so obviously it warrants it.

Don't forget though, he's not a mercinary for the club, he's a football player doing a job for a team. But when it involves the health of your family, you drop it all for them, no matter how big the games coming up are. I'm not happy that he'll miss the games, but I appreciate that his family is more important to him at the moment.

At the end of the day, whether you're a football or a receptionist, family always comes first

Spot on.

After canvassing the web I would add:
1) there is no evidence of any outstanding health problems about both mum and baby - the Clarin (most reliable argentinean paper) just report about new already born Katie and parents pride.
2) on the Telegraph (article dated 14th) I found "the only direct quote out of Mancini", who stated Carlito will miss the Stoke game because will miss for about 3-4 days.

On the above basis - still far incomplete - I am fully confident Carlito will be back in time to "do the Tevez" on sunday.

Thousands of miles away from both sets of parents and grandparents also other members of the family, just hope Carlos doesn't realise and have what is law in the UK, two weeks paid paternity or three months unpaid leave, it's the law if he wants it and nobody can do anything about it.

It would be a disaster if he missed the game on Sunday, we've really missed his tenacity and hold-up play up front, never mind the fact he's not afraid to pull the trigger when the defence stand off him.

Here's hoping Mrs Tevez squeezes out the little one well before Sunday.

She had it last weekend.
Do you really think when the baby popped out he would be on the next plane to the UK?
