And one more thing about Tevez in view of the many comparisons with Dzeko in particular:

Despite what some folks here might think that Dzeko is missing, in terms of strength, or first touch, or confidence or whatever people said about him - at the very least Dzeko got in fight with Mancini BECAUSE HE WANTED TO PLAY and protested for being taken out whereas Tevez on the other hand got in a fight BECAUSE HE DIDN'T want to play.

So even if worse (which I don't think he is), I'd still prefer Dzeko or anyone else than a backstabbing traitor Tevez.

And even more importantly he had the balls to apologise the next day !!

I didn't really want to read 250 pages, so I guess the situation is this:

City haven't been paying Tevez and Tevez has been trying to engineer a move to Milan.

Milan haven't met the fee, so no deal.

Tevez is still under contract, wants his money and wants out in the summer so he has had to return.

The club can't prevent him from coming back to fulfill his contract (although they could have sacked him and withheld his registration, but chose not to do that probably in the hope of still getting 25 mln for him in the summer).

He doesn't show any remorse and won't apologise.

He will train and get fit, but Mancini doesn't have to play him and probably won't.

Most City fans think he should never play again, some would accept it if it helps us win the league.

Is that about right?

Not according to Lescott on twitter, all the players excited to have tevez and toures back - and why not? they'll certainly feel better equipped in the dressing room to land the title. Generally the players don't give a stuff about off field stuff they just want to give themselves best chance of winning trophies and tevez was their captain and talisman only last season - they won't just forget that.

Plus - you poll the united players and ask if they wanted tevez to come back and play for us? You know what the answer would be.
