Tevez's Injury (Merged)

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

One of the main attributes Carlos has is the fear he creates in opposing players. Take shit players from last night like skrtl, carragher and lucas. Whilst tevez was on they looked scared. As soon as he came off Liverpool looked calm on the ball. Dzeko is undoubtedly good at what he does but he doesnt strike fear like Carlos does. We are going to need to Big Edin to really step up to the plate in the semi.

Tevez seems to be wanting to go to Inter next season and the papers have said he as already had a meeting with them - But I Dont Want him to go what do other people feel about this ?

i feel the we should turn on him, commit to OUR club or f**k off!! sick of it now, best player i have ever seen for us but he go go do 1

Go go do 1?

Wasn't that a hit for Showaddywaddy?

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

love how everyone on here has their conspiracy theories, i remember before the last derby people were like 'i guarantee nige will play on saturday', then he was out for ages.

all i can say is that nobody knows what happened but we'll find out on saturday

Tevez's last game in a City shirt?

I really hope so, he is a fantastic player and has carried us at times but i don't want to see him play for us anymore.

He cleary does not want to be here, he doesn't look happy, he hasn't played well for a long while now, he's not even scored an open goal since February. If we had a happy and dedicated Tevez playing for us i would want him to stay here for as long as his body would allow him but to me his mind is already elsewhere and he is playing or was playing the season out.

Not only that but he is a shit captain, for all of Mancini's mistakes this year making him captain in the first place and then not taking it off him when he wanted to leave was one of his biggest.

I saw two things last night from two captains and two young inexperienced right backs.

Carragher as Liverpool captain did nothing but encourage and support Flannagan doing what all good captains should do. Meanwhile i saw Tevez have a right go at Boyata for something that he did, you don't do that when you are captain of a team that contains a young player, you don't make them even more nervous or tear their confidence apart. The difference to our captain in waiting Kompany who at the start of the game when in the tunnel and walking out was constantly tapping Boyata on his back saying "come on" and really geeing him up, that is what a captain should do and i would love it more if Kompany were to lift the FA Cup than Tevez.

I wasn't even arsed last night when he pulled up and misses Saturday and probably the rest of the season, i'm not even arsed that that was the last time i probably will see him in a city shirt, i don't like the guy, haven't done for a while now but that means fuck all to me as long as he does the business on the pitch but he hasn't been doing it lately so i hope it's the last time i see him in a City shirt.

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

He's simply faking it to get out of the semi-final he'll be gone next season anyway so no more of him abusing City having random trips on holiday or getting everything paid for him along with all the other special treatment he gets.

Re: Tevez's last game in a City shirt?

He will be a massive loss for the semi-final of course, but I'm sure he'll be back for the rest of the season.

And I've a distinct feeling he might be here next season too.

Here's hoping.

If he does and he really wants to be here then the captaincy has to be taken from him IMO.

No matter what your opinon is of Tevez and his loyalty to the club, what you can't fault is his commitment on the pitch and for this reason I think he is a total non starter.

Bigger question is who to play up front? we can't play Balotelli and Dzeko together,so it has to be one of them...for me it's Dzeko and hope he shows his true form...he has got previous against the rags...but at least try and cross the bloody ball if he plays!!

IF we persist in playing left footed wingers on the right and right footed players on the left (as we did last night), there is no point playing Dzeko at all.... We need people getting down the line and hitting crosses in for him. So Ballotelli would be the only option... Scary thought??
