In the tunnel before the game I looked at him closely and you couldn't see a more disinterested, can't-be-arsed, had enough, "what the fuck am I doin here?" face on anyone anywhere!

I don't think he's injured at all!

There is no way of saying this without coming across as a c*nt so here goes.....

As soon as he went off I got a message from a broadsheet football journalist questioning the severity of the injury and wondering if it was Tevez's, or even Kia's, idea in the build up to the Derby.

I dismissed it at the time but the more I think about it the more it could add up.

The results of the scan will clear all this up anyway.

Was the journo acting on info or, like us, just speculating?

A torn hamstring is a serious injury. Not one a physio or player would want to walk on. It would have been all over his face it he had torn it. Im positive that its a pull. In which case its hard to predict how long he'd be out for as there are different grades of severity to a hamstring pull. I would predict it as a minor injury, as he has definately felt something. Not something severe though. Even a minor hamstring pull should be rested for three weeks, which doesn't bode well. Even if its just a tweak as opposed to a pull id still rather see him rested for the semi. He could risk his career by playing on it.

sense prevails.

Tevez won't be playing on Saturday.

Total speculation and that's why I've been quick to make it clear that this is just a 'theory'.

Nothing would surprise me in the World of Carlos and Kia though. Many dark forces at work.

just watched this incident for the 6th time.....he gives the ball away-watches them score-then signals to the bench that his hamstrings gone- what,s that about- i,ve done my hamstring twice and both times gone down like a sack of shit because it was f***ing agony!!!!- i just don,t get this......
after initially pulling up he also then stretches out his leg in a kind of challenge before again pulling up and signalling..... im actually hoping that our captain faked an injury!!

Tevez seems to be wanting to go to Inter next season and the papers have said he as already had a meeting with them - But I Dont Want him to go what do other people feel about this ?

i feel the we should turn on him, commit to OUR club or f**k off!! sick of it now, best player i have ever seen for us but he go go do 1

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

Ive played in games where people have torn their hamstrings, and I am 95% certain that Carlos's isnt a tear. A pull or train maybe, but these guys have been in agony after they had done it.

As Mancini said, a couple of weeks maybe - that isnt a tear.

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

No matter what your opinon is of Tevez and his loyalty to the club, what you can't fault is his commitment on the pitch and for this reason I think he is a total non starter.

Bigger question is who to play up front? we can't play Balotelli and Dzeko together,so it has to be one of them...for me it's Dzeko and hope he shows his true form...he has got previous against the rags...but at least try and cross the bloody ball if he plays!!

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

I'll Guarantee he will play on Saturday................................

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

We will get to know how bad it is on Saturday, we should then know whether:
1) He did his hamstring.
2) He's arsed or not playing for City.
3) He hates playing with some of the puddins we have.
4) He's leaving in the Summer.
OR
He knows the team better than Mancini and could see, or in fact new they weren't up for it last night so he faked it????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
