I was chatting to a sports' therapist last night who works alongside some major physios at clubs. She (and she is a blue) said it didn't look like it was torn from the mechanics of the incident and his reaction. She considered it looked more like it had tightened from potentially not warming up sufficiently and he had come off as a precaution.

She felt that with the correct treatment this week with physio and massages, heat treatment, cold compression etc there would be a chance he could be fit. But ultimately, none of us have a clue to the severity as we haven't seen the results of any scan.

We will all know on Saturday when the team is announced. In the meantime, lets not post having digs at people who have alternative opinions.

We need to stand together whether he plays or not.

Rightly or wrongly, the reward would be huge.

After 5 days of thinking he's gonna be out, can you imagine the fire it will light in the stands and on the pitch if he is included? And I know, one player shouldn't have that influence, at all. But he does.

Come off it mate, if Tevez walks out with that captain armband on, while we thought he was a boubt, would absolutely lift the croud even more and the team, and it will scare the rags. Tevez is that kind of player, and you cant say he wouldnt bring that sort of vibe and energy becuase he does.

Oh and I cant see him playing tbh ahah ;)

i just think its starange theres no update. as soon as richards was injured in was on the website the folloiwng morning, what he had done, how bad it is and how long he will be out for. same with boetang, we new straint away he would need an operation an miss a few weeks. its just silet with tevez, he will have deffo have had his scan and the results by now so why the big silence. if hes out just confirm it.

Why should we confirm anything to those red cunts and allow them to plan accordingly ?

anyone else remember a couple of seasons ago (I think?) when Hart got injured, was supposedly out for 4 weeks and then rocked up and played the next match? I remember being shocked when I saw the teamsheet on the walls on the concourse

I'm 99% he won't play on Saturday.

But it would be awesome if it was mind games, and he scored the winner with a minute to go. I'm sure i would have already had a heart attack by then.
