If he has torn/pulled it, i would imagine him being in a bit more pain?

Fukin ell Owen looked like he had been shot.

Have you ever torn a muscle? It's absolute agony! I've broken bones that gave me less pain.

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

A torn hamstring is a serious injury. Not one a physio or player would want to walk on. It would have been all over his face it he had torn it. Im positive that its a pull. In which case its hard to predict how long he'd be out for as there are different grades of severity to a hamstring pull. I would predict it as a minor injury, as he has definately felt something. Not something severe though. Even a minor hamstring pull should be rested for three weeks, which doesn't bode well. Even if its just a tweak as opposed to a pull id still rather see him rested for the semi. He could risk his career by playing on it.

In the tunnel before the game I looked at him closely and you couldn't see a more disinterested, can't-be-arsed, had enough, "what the fuck am I doin here?" face on anyone anywhere!

I don't think he's injured at all!

There is no way of saying this without coming across as a c*nt so here goes.....

As soon as he went off I got a message from a broadsheet football journalist questioning the severity of the injury and wondering if it was Tevez's, or even Kia's, idea in the build up to the Derby.

I dismissed it at the time but the more I think about it the more it could add up.

The results of the scan will clear all this up anyway.

Go on then, i'll bite, why would he want to miss the derby? Surely he'd be putting himself in the shop window in such a high profile game?

bollocks to it-here goes- i,m reckoning he came off to preserve himself for saturday-signalling the very second we go 1 down.....

That's precisely my point.

I'm floating the theory that he is saving himself for Wembley.

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

I am 100% convinced he will play Saturday. He looked like he got a nick of the scousr player( can't remember who, can't bear to watch any football today!!) Don't know what I am basing all this confidence on, just get a feeling

Re: this tevez 'hamstring'...

Tevez seems to be wanting to go to Inter next season and the papers have said he as already had a meeting with them - But I Dont Want him to go what do other people feel about this ?
