Im off in 36 days for 26 days over there!

Anyone got any good tips for 4/5 days in Chang Mai?!

Yeh rent a scooter for a day to travel up to the temple. I went to pie (wrong spelling I no) which is a couple of hours away to do a 2 day river rapids trip it was the best two days of my life if u do go ask for bowa to be your guide he's crazy

No sorry pal can't remember the name of company if u ask someone around there wer u can do the trip I'm sure they would no it's only a small town.

Never fancied this place, but then again I'm not a sex tourist, a drug smuggler or a hippy. And I don't want malaria, dysentry or typhoid.
South east Asia doesn't appeal to me at all, but I stand to be corrected. Is it worth the money?

if your in BK deffo go to the Khao San Rd its where the bit at the start of The Beach was filmed .. its more mainstream now but still great for shopping and people watching
Sukomvit (sp) is bigger but a lot more sprawling and I suppose you really should have a sketch at Patpong - main red light - just because of its infamy if nothing else
