Thank You Ederson Moraes

Hero - came in after Bravo and asked to play with the ball at his feet and take risks. The crowd - not helped by Bravo - were massively on edge, telling him to clear it etc but he was so assured and competant the doubts cleared, the crowd and defence trusted him within a few months. Core to all we achieved. Top man.

Kev, Gundo, Walker and now Eddy gone. End of an era.

Been such a key and recognizable part of our success. I'm of the opinion that a keeper's form is key towards winning the CL and there would be no CL title without Eddy. He was on beast mode in that campaign.

The man with ice-cold veins. Truly an icon. Wish him the best in Turkey.

The most composed keeper I've seen.

What a wonderful servant. Changed the way football is played in this country forever. Wish him all the very best
To a point, many teams tried to copy and it turned out very few keepers could do what he and we could do.Actually when I say very few maybe none. Maybe that's why we've decided not to try there just isn't anyone close and will adapt how we play now.

thankyou eddy for the service you gave us blues and never forget them saves v inter he won us the cup with them and been a great character in the dressing room once a blue always a blue

The change from “cant have the ball at the keepers feet” to everyone fawning over his distribution over the 2017/18 season won’t be forgotten.

Fundamental to how we played over the years and his CL final clean sheet will never be forgotten!

It's a pity that there's not a stat for the number of times that a move he started - when another keeper might have hoofed it - has led to us scoring.

Simply comparing errors to assists doesn't begin to do justice to his contribution.

Not a fantastic keeper - a fantastic player.

Haha, yes. We shat ourselves sometimes but the mad bastard knew what he was doing. Usually…

Even his non-fans must grudgingly admit he brought entertainment value to a position that was previously just functional. And, although it’s easy to forget at times, the business of football is still loosely based on entertainment.

He wasn't the best goalkeeper but he was the right goalkeeper. Influential to Pep delivering his philosophy. cheers Eddie
