Honestly, I'd love to see him and Kompany as one and two at City.

Very sad to see Gundo leaving - a true leader with quiet authority who also weighed in with 60 goals, often at vital moments in big games ... but if you have to go, leaving on a Treble, with your last official act being to hoist the Champions League trophy ... is pretty good.

Sad to see him go. I'm sure I commented kn here, when he signed, about how good a player he would be, and now it turns out he was more than essential and a gap that will be hard to fill. Still, lost creatives leave space for new opportunities.

Not sure what our contract offer was , apparently another year with an option of another 12 months , but Barca have given him a three year deal , you can understand his motives for moving and Barca although financially f*cked they are still favourites in a two team league competition and are a big draw in 'istree terms.
But we have had the Gundo's best years , he was not Mr.Popular with a lot on here but he won over even the most critical over the last few seasons , personally one of my favourite players of all time and vastly underrated he is in the same bracket as KDB,Yaya & Merlin as the greatest more recent City midfielders, good luck in his retirement at Barca , La Liga will be a walk in the park for a player of his quality.

He will be missed greatly. I think it took him a few years to find his feet and it was really during covid he became a real part of the city itself.

What a way to end his time here. Will always be a legend.
