Thank You Kyle Walker

I don’t see what the fuss is about. He's not been 'disrespectful' or insulted City, he's just given an honest comment.

He's not and never has been a City fan. He's a Sheffield United fan. He's just an employee who wishes he'd been able to help a former club (employer) to win a trophy.

Have we turned into scousers already?
There’s nothing wrong with what he’s said per se; he’s just worded it poorly.

Had he said he’d wished he’d have won a trophy during his time at Spurs, no one would have said anything.

Suggesting taking one of us to give them is just weird.

Players talks bollocks - it isn't unusual and nor is it a crime.
He gave us great service.
He's just badly phrasing how much he'd like to win something with the national team.
He could choose his words better but he is Kyle Walker.

I’ve only seen a snippet but wasn’t that the question that he was asked though? It sounded like it from his answer.

Put it this way, his podcast has got an awful lot more attention because of it. Which was probably the intention of whoever decided to frame it like that.

Not really arsed what he's had to say.
I was annoyed by him fucking off when we needed him though.
Not really a good captains behaviour to run away when his teammates needed him cos of the amount of injuries we had.
He was a great servant but I hope he doesn't come back.

He didn't suggest he would take one off us to give to them. He is saying, he would give away one of his PL medals to have been part of the Spurs squad that lifted a trophy. He also said "not my first PL but my second" before then saying actually no because that was the fourmidables!

People need to relax. All he meant was he would have liked to have been part of it. And that's fair enough! He didn't think that hard about it and neither should we.

Which is what I was suggesting!

Blues were absolutely SLATING him

He left because of that nothing else

Well said. Half these people giving him shit here will be the same ones slating the dippers for behaving like that. Very Scouse behaviour

You stated he said he would take one off us to give to them, which I wanted to clarify wasn't the case.

When things like this are being talked about you know the season has ended!
Just him talking like that is unnecessary, even if the question was worded like that.

It probably was only worded like that as he’d already said that he’d swap a City trophy for an England one.
