Thank you NHS

I was at my surgery this morning having a pressure sore dressed again and asked who i could send an email to so i could give them feedback on my care this year , they said we dont often get good feedback and i said you are getting it from me , my care has been excellent this year , everything worked including three times on the two week pathway including very quick MRI scanning , ordered three weeks ago and being done on sunday , cant ask for more . I realise i am lucky in this area , i am very grateful indeed

Had my flu jab today , at my drs surgery , my arm hasnt fallen off so it went ok . If you get offered one go get it done

I have only had proper flu twice in my life , the first one gave me ME and the second time it went to pneumonia and i ended up in hospital for iv antibiotics , i was much younger and stronger then, now i dont think i am strong enough to fight it . The chances of getting the flu is low in most people but why take the chance ?

Been in hospital with sepsis last few days , from the paramedics comeing straight away , straight through to drs, causalty staff wonderful and within the hour from collapsing i had essential tests and treatments and was less confused and has a ct scan to rule out a stroke , the stay on the ward i was well taken care off , knacked back at home but had to praise my local nhs trust again, they are wonderful in a crises

Take care @kaz7 get well soon. Great service from your NHS people.
Like you I've had great service from mine. In fact one of the nurses at the kidney care clinic said she's sending me an invitation to the Christmas party!! :-)

You make sure you keep warm and well wrapped up and all the very best. xxx

Thank you lovely x be good to get a good nites sleep tonite . I couldnt sleep in hospital because next to me was a lady with dementia who rang her bell every minute thinking it was a phone and nobody was speaking to her ,walking around the ward asking to go home , the staff had the patience of a saint.

Poor merlin didnt get fed for a few days , he survived though .

That sounds like the poor lady when I was in she kept asking what time the bus to Buxton was! We see all life in hospitals.
Hope you sleep well tonight and I hope that Merlin has forgiven you. :-)
